The Langley Manufacturing Division of the M. D. Knowlton Company ("Langley") provides a Warranty against defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser of its PowRlifts, PowRdumpers, and other Custom Designed Materials Handling Equipment (collectively, the "Goods"). The Warranty Period commences as of the date of shipment.

Structural Components - Warranty Period is 25 months parts and labor; provided that notice of any such defect or failure is received by Langley within 5 days of the date on which the defect or failure is discovered or 25 months after the date of shipment, whichever occurs first.

All Other Components - Warranty Period is 13 months parts and labor; provided that notice of any such defect or failure is received by Langley within 5 days of the date on which the defect or failure is discovered or 13 months after the date of shipment, whichever occurs first.

Langley's Warranty is valid only if the Goods are installed, maintained, and operated in compliance with Langley's instructions contained in the "Owner's Manual" or instruction sheet, accompanying the Goods.

Langley's Warranty is not valid under adverse conditions including but not limited to, improper installation, abuse, misuse, negligence, or overloading of the goods, or failure to follow maintenance or adjustment instructions provided by Langley.

Langley's Warranty is also not valid with respect to any defects remedied by others or for work done or apparatus furnished by others, without the consent of Langley first obtained in writing, or with respect to any modifications to the Goods made by buyer.

CODE COMPLIANCE GUARANTEE

If for any reason, due to applicable Federal, State, or Local codes, you cannot use the Goods after the Goods have been properly installed and after all remedies have been exhausted, Langley will remove the Goods and refund all money paid by you in connection with the purchase of such Goods, including freight and installation.
